Donation transferred to Muslims staying in Rukla
Lithuanian Muslims’ community is not big in Lithuania, only the minority is willing to volunteer. However, registered religious communities willingly support and interact with other global non-governmental organizations in Europe. Some enterprising people are trying to realize and organize a donation for other Muslims and non-Muslims living in Lithuania.
The continuing unstable situation and the conflict in the Middle East and North Africa forced Muslims to change their place of residence. They left everything in a native land and came to Lithuania.
Recently members of Kaunas Muslims’ community have committed themselves to transfer the donation of winter clothing to Muslims in Rukla, which came a week ago from a non-governmental organization in Germany “Time to Help”. The community of Forty Tatars village is active in organizing help as well.
Donations of clothes, shoes, long women’s skirts are welcome and appreciated in „Refugees and Migrants Center in LT“, address Trakų st. 18, Kaunas. Donations are collected and delivered directly to Rukla.
And may God reward you with the best.
